There is no cost to use the Bike Park and there is no attendant on duty.
The City needs your help in keeping the Bike Park in good shape. To prevent the dirt features from being damaged and to prevent unnecessary risk to the riders, the course must be dry before it is opened. When the course is wet, it will be closed and cannot be used. As a general rule, if there is 1″ of rain, the course will remain closed for 1 day, if there is 2″ of rain, the course will remain closed for 2 days, etc. The course may also be closed for major holidays, extreme weather conditions, and for special events so please call ahead when possible.
We hope you enjoy the Town Creek Bike Park and we look forward to everyone having a great experience.
The Town Creek Bike Park (TCBP), which is located within the city limits of Pickens, has been transformed into one of the premier off-road bicycling facilities in Upstate South Carolina. The nearly 100 acre park located just one mile from historic downtown Pickens serves as the first of three anchor destinations within the proposed Pickens Easley Liberty Corridor (PELCOR). Ride Garden, LLC is partnering with the City of Pickens to revitalize Town Creek Bike Park as the initial PELCOR facility. Completion of the park marks TCBP as one of the first bike parks in the state that offers unique riding features designed to enhance the riders experience through education, challenge and environmental awareness.
