Jaycee Park
The City is working on plans to revitalize the playground and other areas at Jaycee Park.
Jaycee Park, which is located at 149 N. Homestead Road and 238 West Jones Avenue (depending on what side of the creek you are on) in Pickens, SC, is a park with something for everyone. Town Creek meanders through the 23 acre recreational area with access to both sides of the park made available via Collins Bridge. The park boasts 2 lighted tennis courts, the Playground of Promise, a Picnic Pavillion which is also lighted with fans, 2 picnic shelters, 2 lighted youth baseball fields, concession and bathrooms, 1 lighted senior baseball field, 1 lighted football field with grandstands and pressbox and 2 paved parking lots. Jaycee Park adjoins Town Creek Trail and the 42 acres that encompass the Pickens Recreation Center and its fields.
Picnic areas are free to the public on a first-come, first-served basis; however, reservations can be made with payment. For reservations or additional information, contact 878-2296 or go to pickens.recdesk.com
Minor and Major Fields are located on the N. Homestead Road side of Jaycee Park.
Senior and Volunteer Fields are located on the West Jones Avenue side of Jaycee Park.
