City Council, Boards and Commissions

The City of Pickens has three boards that are filled by citizen and business owner volunteers. To learn more about each Board or Commission, click on the respective link below. New board members will be appointed by council and any resident or business owner within the city limits of Pickens can apply to fill any vacancies. New board members will be required to take an orientation training. Once orientation is complete, board members will be required to take a continuing education training every year that they remain on the board. 

 

The Mayor, City Council and Staff appreciate the commitment of residents and business owners, who voluntarily serve on the Boards and Commissions to help plan and maintain the planning, zoning and sign regulations.
